It's always a blessing to know that God understands your concerns, knows your heart, and your thoughts....and is truly listening to your prayers....AND takes the time to answer, as well! Just like with anything else, all the old adages apply. There is good and bad in everything (everyone). You have to take the good with the bad, the bitter with the better, etc. Yes, since the Church is made up of human beings, believers and those who haven't caught on yet, sinners saved by God's amazing grace, there will be things that you disagree with and things that offend. But, as maturing Christians we need to look beyond...look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. He is our focus...not our brothers and sisters. Remember how Jesus feels about the Church. Husbands are admonished to love their wives like Christ LOVED THE CHURCH and gave Himself for it. The Church is the pearl of great price, the treasure hidden in the field. Jesus loved His Bride so much that He laid down His life for her. He is in the process of perfecting His Church....but it takes time. We're a monumental work in progress. But we will be beautiful, perfect and holy...we will be like Him for we shall see Him as He is! Don't give up on the Church. God doesn't. I have been very impressed with these folks. I think that I could go to a Lutheran curch if I felt led to because..

"God is showing me that maybe the building isn't a must, but fellowship with believers is."

..right on brother!

Blessings, Bobkc bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17440862813109808755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35474148.post-65834375041260495922008-09-10T08:40:00.000-04:002008-09-10T08:40:00.000-04:00Shaun, I think that you now know what it mean...Shaun,
I think that you now know what it means to be a Deist.
